Two Ukrainian Air Assault Brigades Receive Pulstron Drone Reconnaissance and Strike Systems
Two brigades of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces—the 81st Airmobile Brigade and the 71st Separate Jaeger Brigade—have received Pulstron reconnaissance and strike systems as part of the Eye for an Eye 3 project, a joint initiative by the Come Back Alive foundation and the OKKO gas station network, the foundation reported on December 17.
Come Back Alive, which provides targeted support to the Ukrainian military, handed over the 8th and 9th of 10 planned reconnaissance and strike drone systems, valued at 50 million hryvnias (approximately $1.25 million.)
The funds were raised through donations and purchases of PULLS fuel at OKKO stations.
Each Pulstron system includes around 40 types of equipment to assist drone strike companies in reconnaissance, fire adjustment, and combat operations management. This includes reconnaissance UAVs such as MINI SHARK, DJI Mavic 3, and DJI Matrice 30T for day and night tasks, as well as strike drones like the Kazhan and R-34, capable of carrying 12–13 kg of payload, or up to 20 kg for short distances.
Additionally, the systems include FPV drones with various ranges, thermal imaging capabilities, and reusable models with drop systems.
The package also provides vehicle-mounted and portable radio stations, Starlink kits, Mitsubishi L200 off-road vehicles (or equivalents), and night vision devices for drivers.
It was previously reported that The Come Back Alive Foundation has upgraded the ‘Osa’ surface-to-air missile systems (SAMs) for Ukraine’s Defense Forces, investing over 14 million hryvnias (approximately $378,000) as part of the HORNET project to bolster air defense capabilities.
