A Su-34 bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces crashed in the Volgograd region today, July 27, during a routine training flight, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry of Defense confirmed the incident and stated that the preliminary cause of the crash is a technical malfunction. Local residents in the Serafimovich district have shared photos and videos on social media showing smoke rising from a forested area.
