Three Russian Offensives Collapsed, Two More Heavy Campaigns Planned, Zelensky Warns

Russia is preparing for two more large-scale offensive operations in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told Sky News in an interview, stressing that additional support from partners is essential to repel them.
“I am glad that all Russian advances—all three of their offensive missions—have failed. Ahead, they are planning two more heavy campaigns. Their last three operations collapsed,” Zelenskyy said.
He recalled emphasizing during meetings in Europe and in Washington with US President Donald Trump and his team that Russia will not succeed in seizing eastern regions of Ukraine, and that claims of a possible occupation of Sumy are lies and manipulations.
“We managed to disrupt two operations completely. The third, I think, needs another day or two to confirm they suffered heavy losses and failed. But I need 24–48 hours to say that publicly. On one axis, important actions are still underway,” Zelenskyy noted.

According to him, Russian forces are preparing for two more autumn offensives, and their situation is “much worse than what was reported” to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
“Right now, our soldiers must hold on. They need support first and foremost with weapons and financial assistance from our partners. All funds are going into Ukrainian drone and electronic warfare production. That is how we must support our soldiers. Then we will withstand two more manipulative Russian offensives,” Zelenskyy stressed.
He also underlined that Ukraine backed US President Donald Trump’s efforts to seek a ceasefire during his recent meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Alaska—in contrast to Moscow’s position.
Earlier, Zelenskyy highlighted the findings of Ukraine’s intelligence regarding Russia’s intentions toward other countries.
