Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that Ukraine has offered to send a hundred rescue workers to Poland to assist with the aftermath of the severe flooding.

Tusk shared this on his X.

Polish Prime Minister stated that Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal had conveyed solidarity with Poland and expressed readiness to immediately dispatch a hundred rescue workers equipped with specialized equipment to combat the flooding.

"Very touching," noted the Polish Prime Minister.

Overall, Ukraine has offered assistance to six European countries in dealing with the effects of the floods, as stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

On Sunday evening, Tusk announced plans to declare a state of emergency in Poland due to the extensive flooding.

Several European countries are suffering from severe flooding over the weekend. In Poland, in particular, a dam breach has resulted in the city being essentially submerged.
