Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SSO) struck an oil depot in Russian-occupied Crimea overnight, hitting a pumping station at the “Hvardiiskyi” facility in the village of Karierne, Saksky district, the SSO said in a Telegram post on November 10.
The depot is part of the Russian fuel-logistics network and helps supply military sites and transport across the peninsula.
According to the SSO, their unmanned systems struck the pump station, degrading the site’s ability to move fuel.
The operation is a part of ongoing asymmetric actions the SSO says are intended to exhaust the enemy’s capacity to sustain offensive operations.
Previously, it was reported that SSO conducted a coordinated strike against Russian military assets in occupied Crimea, destroying an S-400 “Triumf” air defense system and an ammunition depot belonging to Russia’s 18th Army, according to a statement from the SSO.
