Ukraine Strikes Key Russian Military Command Post in Belgorod Region

Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) announced that a command post of Russia’s “Sever” (North) military group was successfully struck in the city of Gubkin, Belgorod region, HUR reported on November 20.
Residents of Gubkin reported loud explosions and witnessed thick black smoke rising in the area, accompanied by a strong smell.

The HUR stated, “For every crime committed against the Ukrainian people, there will be an adequate and fair retribution.”
Earlier, Ukraine’s Armed Forces carried out their first-ever strike on a military target within Russian territory, using US-manufactured ATACMS ballistic missiles.
According to Reuters sources in the US, Russia intercepted 2 out of 8 ATACMS missiles launched by Ukraine during the night of November 19.
