Ukraine’s 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade has destroyed a rare Russian Grad-P (“Partizan”) rocket launcher and its ammunition with a precision FPV drone strike, the brigade reported in a post on Facebook on October 30.
Drone reconnaissance units detected the launcher’s position before executing the strike. The Grad-P, also known as “Partizan,” is a Soviet-era single-tube portable rocket system, produced in small quantities for special forces. Russian troops have used it for covert attacks from areas inaccessible to larger artillery systems.
Footage released by the brigade shows the FPV drone hitting its target, triggering a powerful detonation that obliterated the launcher and surrounding ammunition.
“Another proof that every enemy shot receives an answer,” the 30th Brigade wrote in its statement.
Previously, it was reported that Russian forces suffered heavy equipment losses while attempting a mechanized assault on Ukrainian positions near Volodymyrivka in the Donetsk region.
