Ukraine's Massive Underwater Drone TOLOKA Unveiled at Brave1 Defense Tech Valley 2025 in Lviv

Ukraine unveiled its massive underwater drone TOLOKA at the Brave1 Defense Tech Valley 2025 exhibition, according to a UNITED24 Media correspondent on September 19.
The TLK-150 is designed for stealthy operations, capable of operating just below the water's surface. Its compact size and electric propulsion make it less detectable, allowing it to infiltrate enemy defenses effectively. This capability is particularly valuable in asymmetric warfare scenarios, where unconventional tactics can yield significant advantages.
The Toloka family includes larger variants designed for more extensive operations:
TLK-400: 4–6 meters in length, with a range up to 1,200 km and a payload capacity of up to 500 kg.
TLK-1000: 4–12 meters in length, with a range up to 2,000 km and a payload capacity of up to 5,000 kg.
Toloka was first introduced at the February 24 summit in Kyiv, where President Volodymyr Zelenskyy highlighted Ukraine’s cutting-edge defense technologies. This event, marking the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, showcased a range of domestically developed innovations aimed at strengthening the nation's defense.
Previously, at the Defense Tech Valley 2025 investment summit near Kyiv, Ukrainian drone firms unveiled a trio of new unmanned aircraft designed to cover different battlefield roles—from long-range cargo and strike missions to low-cost frontline reconnaissance and a “mothership” that carries and releases FPV attack copters, Ukrainian defense media Militarnyi reported on September 19.
