Ukrainian Drone Strike Damages Russian Military Training Center in Mulino

New images have emerged showing the aftermath of a Ukrainian drone strike on Russia’s 333rd Combat Training Center near Mulino, Nizhny Novgorod region.
The attack, which took place on March 14, reportedly damaged part of the facility, including training simulators and an interactive shooting range.
According to images published by the Telegram channel Parapax, analysts from the CyberBoroshno project determined that the Ukrainian drone “Liutyi” struck a corner section of the main training pavilion. This area housed interactive firing ranges and simulation equipment used for armored vehicle crew training.
Reports indicated that at least two Russian servicemen were injured in the strike. On the day of the attack, Russia’s Rosaviatsiya temporarily suspended operations at Strigino Airport, though Russian authorities have not publicly commented on the incident.
The 333rd Combat Training Center integrates traditional military training grounds with modern computer-based simulation technologies. The facility includes a battlefield training area spanning approximately 34×27 km, featuring tank courses, urban warfare mock-ups, and various specialized training zones.
The center has the capacity to train up to three brigades annually, accommodating 700 personnel at a time and preparing around 30,000 soldiers each year.
Earlier, a fire broke out near the Sarepta railway station in Volgograd following reports of a drone attack. Footage geolocated by Russian media showed flames near a Gazprom gas station, with local sources suggesting drones targeted infrastructure, possibly including the Lukoil oil refinery. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed to have intercepted 64 drones over the region, but no official confirmation was provided regarding the refinery attack or the cause of the fire.
