Ukrainian Drones Allegedly Hit Russia's Kronstadt Drone Plant in Deep Strike Near Moscow

Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported intercepting 155 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles across multiple regions and occupied Crimea, including 11 over Moscow Region. Witnesses in Dubna say several drones struck the Kronstadt plant, which develops and produces reconnaissance and strike UAVs—though official sources have not confirmed any damage.
Astra Telegram channel reported, “In suburban Dubna, UAVs are again attacking the Kronstadt drone development plant, local residents report,” sharing video purportedly showing multiple loitering drones striking industrial workshops.
According to a statement on Russia’s Defense Ministry Telegram channel, from 23:00 on July 10 to 07:00 on July 11, air defenses shot down 155 Ukrainian drones over 13 regions, including 53 over Kursk, 19 over Bryansk, 15 over Smolensk, 14 over Belgorod, 13 over Tula, 11 over Moscow and Orel each, seven over Crimea, four over Lipetsk and the Black Sea, and two over Rostov and Kaluga regions.
No official confirmation of hits or damage has been released by Russian or Ukrainian authorities.
Local authorities in Tula’s Proletarsky District recorded loud detonations near three major defense enterprises—Constructor’s Bureau of Instrumentation, SPLAV and Shcheglovsky Val—where air defense systems were actively engaged.
In Taganrog, debris from a downed drone reportedly fell on the grounds of the Beriev Aviation Plant, damaging no critical infrastructure, according to Mayor Svetlana Kambulova. Residents in Kursk’s Psilskoye community also heard explosions and saw fire at a logistics facility.
Earlier, Ukraine struck the Engels and Dyagilevo airbases in a preemptive drone attack on key Russian military sites, damaging Long-Range Aviation assets and disrupting bomber operations.
