Ukrainian Drones Hit Temryuk Seaport, Destroying 70% of Russian Fuel Tanks

Ukraine’s Defense Forces targeted multiple positions in temporarily occupied territories as part of efforts to reduce Russia’s offensive capabilities. In eastern Luhansk region, Ukrainian forces struck an ammunition depot near Chmyrivka, disrupting Russian logistics, General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on December 8.

Further results were confirmed from the December 5 strike on the Temryuk seaport in the Krasnodar region, which is vital to Russian Armed Forces.
The strike destroyed 20 fuel tanks, amounting to 70% of the facility’s storage. A fire also continues to burn at a liquefied gas loading dock, where nearly two dozen railway tankers are located. As of the evening of December 7, the fire covered nearly 1,000 square meters.
In the Donetsk region, a Russian UAV storage facility was hit, further weakening Russia’s aerial capabilities. Ukrainian forces also targeted a fuel and lubricant storage facility in the Simeykin area, disrupting Russian supply lines.

Ukrainian forces also targeted a mobile fire group and a Pantsir-S1 air defense system in Donetsk, further weakening Russia’s air defenses. The damage caused by these strikes is still being assessed.

Reports of a drone attack on the Temryuk seaport, located in the Temryuk Bay of the Azov Sea on the Taman Peninsula in Russia’s Krasnodar region, emerged shortly after midnight.
