The charges were detonated remotely at around 5:00 a.m., setting the wagons ablaze and triggering a fire that engulfed station infrastructure.
Footage obtained by Ukrainian media shows the moment of detonation beneath the fuel tanks, followed by flames spreading across the rail yard. The fire destroyed key facilities at the station, which serves as part of a supply network for Russian military operations.
Intelligence sources noted that the Tver hub is used to transport fuel, ammunition, and personnel for Russian forces. The operation, they said, is part of broader efforts to degrade the logistics capacity of Russia’s military inside occupied Ukrainian territory and beyond.
Earlier on August 28, Ukraine’s military intelligence struck a Russian Buyan-M class missile corvette in the Azov Sea, disabling the vessel and forcing it to retreat. According to HUR, the operation involved drone and direct fire attacks targeting the ship’s radar and hull. The corvette was reportedly within launch range for Kalibr missiles near Temryuk Bay.
