According to Ukrainian monitoring channels Krymskyi Viter and Exilenova+, Ukrainian drones struck the JSC “Marine Oil Terminal,” a major fuel transshipment facility on the peninsula. The reports indicate that the attack hit fuel storage tanks shortly after 1 a.m.

Satellite data from NASA’s FIRMS system also detected thermal anomalies consistent with a large fire at the site, confirming the location of the blaze.

Local reports cited by monitoring channels indicated that railway crossings near the terminal—along Kerch Highway and Fedko Street—were temporarily closed following the incident. Eyewitnesses reported that the glow from the fire was visible from distances exceeding 20 kilometers.

According to Ukraine’s General Staff, the Feodosia terminal serves as a key logistical hub for supplying fuel to Russian forces, particularly on the southern axis. The facility is one of only two such terminals operating in occupied Crimea, alongside another in Sevastopol.

Earlier, on October 13, a drone strike triggered a massive fire at the Feodosia oil terminal in occupied Crimea, marking the second attack on the facility within a week, according to Russian outlet Astra. The strike targeted one of the peninsula’s key fuel hubs, which supports Russian military operations in the south.

The latest strike comes amid a broader Ukrainian campaign targeting Russia’s oil infrastructure, including refineries and export terminals, aimed at disrupting fuel supplies and reducing revenue streams that support military operations. Ukrainian drone strikes have repeatedly hit key oil facilities and ports, including Ust-Luga and Primorsk, contributing to a sharp decline in Russian oil exports and forcing temporary suspensions of shipping operations.
