In Pohreby, the number of injured rose to eight following a morning strike on food and commercial warehouses.

Later in the evening, another strike destroyed a distribution center belonging to the "Aurora" retail chain in the region, triggering a fire, though no personnel were injured.

Strikes were also reported across multiple other Ukrainian regions throughout the day. In the Kherson region, shelling resulted in the deaths of three residents and left seven others injured, including an 11-year-old boy.

In Zolochiv, located in the Kharkiv region, a vehicle carrying children came under attack, leaving a 7-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy with severe stress reactions.

Additional casualties from Russian strikes were reported elsewhere in the country, with four people injured in Sumy and six individuals wounded in Zaporizhzhia.

Russia launched an anti-ship Oniks missile, an Iskander-M ballistic missile, and 267 attack drones against Ukraine in an overnight assault that began on the evening of August 28 and continued into the morning of August 29.

The Ukrainian Air Force deployed aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems teams, and mobile fire groups to defend the airspace, intercepting or jamming 233 of the incoming drones across northern, southern, eastern, and central regions.

Defense forces confirmed impacts across 15 locations, while fallen debris hit four separate sites, with several weapons failing to reach their intended targets as operations concluded.
