Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian S-400, Radar and Logistics Sites Across Multiple Regions

Ukrainian forces struck several Russian military targets over the past day and overnight into August 31, including a radar station, an S-400 command vehicle, communications infrastructure, and logistics depots, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on August 31.
In Russia’s Bryansk region, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian radar station in Desnyansky, according to the General Staff.

Another strike targeted a command-and-staff vehicle belonging to a Russian S-400 Triumf air defense system near Ploskobukreivka in the Bryansk region.
Ukrainian forces also hit a communications hub used by a Russian military unit in Zimovne, Belgorod region, as well as a Russian drone command post near Huliaipole in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region.
The strikes additionally targeted Russian logistics and materiel depots across several locations. These included facilities in Kyr-Bailar in Russian-occupied Crimea, Verkhnokamianka in Ukraine’s Luhansk region, and Popovo-Lezhachi in Russia’s Kursk region.
The General Staff said the extent of the damage caused by the strikes is still being assessed.
The latest attacks follow a series of Ukrainian operations targeting Russian air defense and radar infrastructure. On August 30, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces reported that Ukrainian drone units had destroyed five Russian air defense and radar assets at the Yeysk and Millerovo military airfields.
Follow-up reconnaissance confirmed the destruction of a Pantsir-S1 air defense system and four Russian radar assets, according to the Ukrainian military. Among the key targets was a DRL-27 radar module belonging to the RSP-27 system at the Millerovo airfield.
