Ukrainian forces targeted and destroyed Russian military equipment that was being evacuated from a warehouse in the Donetsk region. The operation occurred as Russian troops attempted to move assets following an initial strike on their position.

The first series of explosions took place on March 11 near the settlement of Shyroka Balkka in the Donetsk region. The strike hit a Russian ammunition depot, according to reports from the Dosye Shpyona Telegram channel.

Following the initial detonations, Russian forces began an urgent evacuation of military vehicles. Convoys started moving west to escape the area of the attack.

Approximately 30 minutes after the first explosions, Ukrainian forces launched a second strike on the equipment as it reached the settlement of Manhush. This location is about eight kilometers west of the original attack site.

Reports indicate that five units of military equipment were destroyed. There are also reports of casualties among Russian service members.

The source stated that all attacks on the Russian targets were carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the occupation of Mariupol and surrounding areas, Russian forces have used local infrastructure for military purposes. This includes the placement of ammunition depots for artillery and missile systems.

Additionally, on the night of March 11 to March 12, drones from the Security Service of Ukraine attacked the Tikhoretsk oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Krai. This facility is a primary oil hub in southern Russia.

Ukrainian forces targeted a facility on Kyivskyi Avenue in occupied Donetsk that Russian troops had converted from a former Ford dealership into a workshop for assembling ground-based military drones.

Two strike drones were used in the operation, which sparked a large fire and triggered secondary explosions of stored ammunition.

The attack resulted in the deaths of a major and two junior sergeants from the 1st Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, while several other servicemen were wounded or reported missing.
