A Ukrainian FPV drone has destroyed a bridge over the Tsata River in Russia’s Bryansk region.
The operation was carried out by operators of the 1st Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, according to footage published by the Telegram channel DroneBomber.
The strike took place after Ukrainian forces identified that Russian troops had mined the bridge, reportedly in preparation for a potential retreat route. Ukrainian forces responded by targeting and disabling the structure.
The destruction of the bridge renders it impassable and eliminates a key evacuation route for Russian units in the area.
Footage from the FPV drone reveals multiple TM-62 anti-tank mines positioned along the bridge’s span and support structure.
The visible placement of the mines confirms that the bridge had been prepared by Russian forces for demolition in the event of advancing Ukrainian troops.
Earlier on August 2, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence and local resistance forces carried out a joint operation near occupied Melitopol, killing five members of the Russian-controlled “Akhmat” unit and destroying a mobile electronic warfare system with an improvised explosive device.
