External drone operators from Ukraine’s 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade have successfully destroyed a Russian RBU-6000 naval rocket bomb launcher mounted on a truck chassis, according to footage released by the brigade on social media.
The attack reportedly involved two precision FPV drone strikes. The first disabled the vehicle by targeting the cab, while the second directly hit the RBU-6000 launcher, rendering it completely inoperable.

The RBU-6000 is a Soviet-designed naval system originally developed for anti-submarine and torpedo defense. Equipped with twelve radially arranged barrels, it fires RGB-60 depth charges that rely on underwater shockwaves rather than fragmentation to neutralize targets. The system was first adopted by the Soviet Navy in 1961.
Though intended for use aboard ships, the RBU-6000 has been increasingly seen mounted on improvised ground platforms, including trucks, tanks, and MT-LB armored vehicles.

Unlike naval installations equipped with automated loading and fire control systems, these ground-based adaptations must be operated and reloaded manually, significantly reducing their accuracy and combat effectiveness.
Previously, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a series of precision strikes against Russian military targets in multiple locations, focusing on degrading the Russian Federation’s air defense and radar capabilities.
