The attack, which took place in 2024, was carried out by Ukraine’s 43rd Artillery Brigade after reconnaissance drones located the launcher near a forest.
According to the video, Ukrainian forces used high-precision weaponry, likely the U.S.-supplied M142 HIMARS rocket system, to target the air defense system.
The footage shows two explosions over the launcher, followed by the detonation of an anti-aircraft missile, scattering debris. The extent of the damage remains unclear, but the explosion likely contributed to the destruction of the system and could have resulted in casualties among the crew.
The exact location and date of the strike were not disclosed. Ukrainian forces have previously targeted Russian air defense systems in temporarily occupied territories and inside Russia.
Earlier, Poland raised $300,000 in 36 hours to fund an armored medical evacuation vehicle for Ukraine.
