Ukrainian Resistance Group Exposes Alleged Coercion of Ethnic Minorities at Russian Conscription Office

An agent from the Atesh movement allegedly documented instances of systematic pressure being exerted on civilians at the conscription office located at 24 Sizov Avenue with particularly harsh pressure being put on individuals of non-Russian ethnicities, especially Dagestanis, Buryats, Tuvinians, and Uzbeks living in St. Petersburg, Russia.
This was reported by Atesh on March 21.
According to the resistance movement, people are being blackmailed and coerced into signing contracts, with threats of consequences if they refuse.
“Our agent has gathered complete information on the facility’s operating procedures, security personnel, and staff. We warn everyone: stay away from this location,” Atesh wrote on their Telegram channel.
“We also remind you that there was already an attempt to attack this facility last year, when an incendiary mixture was set ablaze at the entrance.”
On March 18, the resistance movement reported that agents of Atesh carried out a successful sabotage operation, setting fire to a military vehicle in the Budionnivskyi district of the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk in the Donetsk region.
