Ukrainian company SkyFall, which manufactures the Vampire UAVs, is in negotiations with the Danish government regarding the possibility of opening a production facility in Denmark, according to Denmark's Ministry of Defense on February 24.

Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen, along with his Ukrainian counterpart, discussed the possibility of establishing another defense production facility in Denmark by a Ukrainian company.

“Denmark has been one of Ukraine’s strongest supporters since the start of the war. Initially, through donations and training of Ukrainian personnel, and later with investments directly in Ukrainian defense industries based on the Danish model. Now we are beginning talks with the Ukrainian company SkyFall about setting up production in Denmark,” the minister stated.

He noted that involving strong Ukrainian defense companies in Denmark, in collaboration with the Danish industry, would enhance the security of both Denmark and Ukraine.

According to the ministry, in the summer of 2025, the Ukrainian government launched the “Building with Ukraine” initiative, aimed at increasing supply security for Ukraine, creating export opportunities for Ukrainian companies to Western countries, and facilitating the transfer of technology to close partners.

Lieutenant General Per Pugholm Olsen, head of the Material Supply and Procurement Agency of Denmark's Ministry of Defense emphasized that a strong defense industry is essential for the security of their supplies and, consequently, for the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces.

He also noted that the Ukrainian defense industry has demonstrated impressive capability in supporting the country’s defense efforts through continuous innovation and product development.

“SkyFall is a company with an impressive product portfolio that can ensure strategically important production and supply on Danish soil—for both Ukraine and Denmark,” said Lieutenant General Per Pugholm Olsen, head of the Material Supply and Procurement Agency of Denmark's Ministry of Defense.

If SkyFall successfully establishes production in Denmark, the company will be offered the opportunity to collaborate with one or more relevant Danish companies, the ministry added.

Earlier, Denmark committed an extra $27 million in humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, coinciding with the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion.
