US Envoy Kellogg Arrives in Kyiv to Discuss Weapons, Sanctions, and US-Ukraine Ties

The US President’s Special Representative for Ukraine, Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, arrived in Kyiv. The head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Andrii Yermak, announced the visit on July 14.
"Defense, security cooperation, weapons, sanctions, protecting our people, and strengthening US-Ukraine ties — many important topics to discuss," Yermak wrote.
He added that Russia shows no intention of ceasing its attacks.
"Peace through strength is President Donald Trump’s principle, and we support this approach," Yermak said.
Earlier this month, Kellogg stated that his visit to Ukraine would last a week.
Previously, it was reported that US President Donald Trump is expected to announce a major new weapons package for Ukraine on Monday, potentially including offensive systems and long-range missiles, Axios reported on July 14, citing two sources with direct knowledge of the plan.
