Keith Kellogg, US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, will visit Kyiv on Monday, July 14, as part of his diplomatic efforts.

Kellogg shared the news in an exclusive interview with Galyina Ostapovets, a reporter for Novyny.LIVE, who is currently covering the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference in Rome.

According to Kellogg, his visit to Ukraine will last a week, during which he will engage in talks related to ongoing support for Ukraine amid the Russian invasion.

During the interview, Kellogg mentioned that his schedule is so packed that he barely has time for breakfast.

“The way my schedule is right now, I barely have time for breakfast,” said the envoy when asked if he would be available to give an interview to a Ukrainian reporter.

During his time in Kyiv, Kellogg is expected to meet with Ukrainian leaders to discuss expanding US military aid, including additional air defense systems and artillery, and to ensure the continued flow of international support.

He is also likely to discuss the importance of continued sanctions against Russia, an issue he has long championed.

In the past, Kellogg has said that it is Russia, not the United States or Ukraine, that is dragging its feet in the search for a peaceful settlement to the full-scale war it started.

“Peskov’s recent comments on the state of negotiations are Orwellian. Russian claims that it is the US and Ukraine stalling peace talks are unfounded,” Keith claimed in his post on X.

Meaghan Mobbs, the daughter of Keith Kellogg, commented on the large-scale Russian attack on Ukrainian cities on the night of June 6, reaching out to her father.

“It’s a loud night in Kyiv, Dad,” Mobbs wrote on her X account on June 6, tagging Kellogg’s account. “It might be the explosions and gunfire in the dead of night, but I get the strange feeling the Russians don’t want peace.”

Previously, Zelenskyy met US Envoy Kellogg and discussed weapons, sanctions, and defense cooperation.
