Zelensky Announces New European Support: Intelligence, Air Defense, and Ammunition Access

On March 28, during a briefing in Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine will receive broader access to intelligence data from European partners, along with licenses for air defense production.
These agreements were discussed following a meeting in Paris among leaders of the coalition of nations supporting Ukraine.

“We have agreed with partners from certain countries – I won’t specify now, as this is a European initiative – on expanding Ukraine’s access to intelligence, access to relevant technologies, and satellites that our European colleagues possess,” Zelenskyy stated.
Additionally, the president mentioned that Ukraine has secured arrangements with several European leaders regarding access to ammunition stockpiles across the continent.
“We have agreed on licenses for the production of air defense systems, and we will also work on obtaining licenses for certain types of artillery. Furthermore, we have agreed on investments in the production of Ukrainian drones and missiles,” Zelenskyy said.
On the same day, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Kyiv received a new agreement draft from the US regarding critical minerals, which “differs completely from the previous framework document.”
