Zelenskyy Meets Dassault Aviation CEO to Discuss Rafale Fighter Cooperation

During his visit to France, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on December 1 with Éric Trappier, the President and CEO of Dassault Aviation—the French aerospace company known for producing Rafale fighter aircraft.
Trappier presented the company’s production facilities and briefed the Ukrainian President on the technical capabilities and performance of Dassault’s military aircraft, particularly the Rafale multirole fighter family.
Dassault Aviation also manufactures components for the space sector, military electronics, and commercial aircraft.

Zelenskyy and Trappier discussed potential areas of cooperation, including opportunities outlined in the bilateral declaration signed by the presidents of Ukraine and France on November 17.
The conversation also touched on the possibility of localizing certain production or partnership projects in Ukraine.
