Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reaffirmed his determination to end Russia’s war in 2025, emphasizing the importance of achieving peace in a way that ensures safety and stability for the Ukrainian people. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on January 21, Zelenskyy highlighted the need for fairness and reliability in any resolution.
“We want to end the war this year—not just quickly but fairly and reliably for all of us, for Ukrainians,” Zelenskyy said. “So that they can return home, live in safety, and work.”
The President stressed the importance of international cooperation in rebuilding Ukraine and ensuring its long-term security. He called on European allies to remain engaged and support Ukraine’s efforts to resist aggression and recover from the damage caused by the Russia’s war against Ukraine.
On January 21, during his speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, Zelenskyy underscored the escalating military threat from Russia and stressed the urgent need for robust security guarantees to safeguard Europe’s stability.
On the same day, Zelenskyy reported that 4,000 North Korean soldiers, out of 12,000 deployed, have been killed in battles on the Kursk front.
