Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,250 Troops, 3 Tanks, and 63 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,250 troops, three tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, and 63 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 28.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have surpassed 1.4 million, reaching approximately 1,400,970.
Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of two multiple launch rocket systems, seven air defense systems, 14 ground robotic systems, 1,889 operational-tactical UAVs, 501 vehicles and fuel tankers, and seven pieces of special equipment over the past day.
Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,063 tanks, 24,844 armored combat vehicles, 44,920 artillery systems, 1,901 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,454 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,754 ground robotic systems, 377,500 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,790 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 113,135 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,360 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff said 241 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past day. The heaviest fighting was recorded in the Huliaipole, Pokrovsk, and Sloviansk directions.
Over the past day, Russia carried out one missile strike using four missiles and launched 88 airstrikes, dropping 277 guided aerial bombs.
Russian forces also used 9,873 attack drones and conducted 2,773 strikes on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including 36 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Navy destroyed a Russian logistics boat delivering supplies to occupation forces on the temporarily occupied Tendra Spit, continuing its campaign to disrupt Russian maritime supply lines in the northwestern Black Sea.
