Russian forces launched four FAB-250 high-explosive aerial bombs equipped with UMPK guidance modules at multi-story apartment buildings in Kramatorsk on August 18.

The regional prosecutor's office in Donetsk reported the details of the attack on local residential infrastructure.

Three civilians were injured in the strike, including a 71-year-old man, an 84-year-old woman, and an 11-year-old boy.

The victims sustained blast injuries, lacerations, and concussions during the bombardment. The attack damaged 4 apartment buildings and 3 passenger vehicles.

Law enforcement officials have opened a pre-trial investigation into the incident as part of criminal proceedings regarding a war crime under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On July 10, 2026, Russian forces launched guided aerial bomb strikes on Kramatorsk and Zaporizhzhia, killing at least five people and injuring 45 others.

Regional authorities reported that the midday strikes hit residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure, damaging a high-rise building, a shop, and private houses in Kramatorsk, while destroying 15 private residences and severely damaging a multi-story apartment block in Zaporizhzhia.
