Russian Aerial Bombs Strike Kramatorsk, Leaving One Dead and 15 Injured

At least one person was killed and 15 others were injured following evening strikes on the Kramatorsk community on August 13.

Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported the casualties following the attacks.

Russian forces launched eight attacks targeting the city of Kramatorsk and the nearby village of Bilenke between 8:30 p.m. and 8:56 p.m.

"At least one person was killed and 15 others were injured as a result of evening strikes on the Kramatorsk hromada," stated Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

Initial evaluations indicate that aerial bombs were used during the bombardment.

"In the interval between 20:30 and 20:56, Russian troops attacked Kramatorsk and the village of Bilenke eight times. Horizontally, the enemy used air bombs," Filashkin stated.

Hits were registered within residential areas in Kramatorsk, causing damage to an apartment building. Authorities are currently working to verify details regarding additional structural damage across the targeted areas.

On July 10, 2026, Russian forces launched guided aerial bomb strikes on Kramatorsk and Zaporizhzhia, killing at least five people and injuring 45 others.

Regional authorities reported that the midday strikes hit residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure, damaging a high-rise building, a shop, and private houses in Kramatorsk, while destroying 15 private residences and severely damaging a multi-story apartment block in Zaporizhzhia.
