Wildberries Tried to Redirect Ukrainian Drones Onto Rival Ozon—It Didn’t Work

Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries allegedly tried to redirect Ukrainian drones toward facilities belonging to rival marketplace Ozon by altering the locations of its logistics hubs on digital maps, according to OSINT analysts from Exilenova+ on August 11.
The unusual move reportedly came amid a sustained Ukrainian strike campaign against Wildberries logistics infrastructure. Exilenova+ said company representatives appeared to be trying to mislead Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces and protect goods stored inside their warehouses.

According to the analysts, geolocation markers for Wildberries logistics centers were changed en masse on online maps, effectively shifting some of the facilities onto neighboring properties—including sites belonging to Ozon.
“However, this did not mislead the intelligence and precision of the Defense Forces. The target was found and hit. Another enemy supply artery is gone,” Exilenova+ said.
In futile attempt to save their rapidly vanishing Wildberries empire, Russians have begun changing the geolocations of these facilities to those of competitors like Ozon to fool Ukrainian drone operators.

The alleged attempt does not appear to have stopped Ukraine’s campaign against Wildberries infrastructure.
According to Exilenova+, 20 Wildberries-related facilities have now been struck since the campaign began, with 15 reportedly burning down completely.

The latest strikes included a hit on a Wildberries logistics complex near Russia’s Voronezh following a series of explosions.
According to Russian media outlet Astra, the logistics complex in Aleksandrovka opened in November 2025. According to publicly available information, the facility covers 152,900 square meters and has a storage capacity of more than 90 million items.
The joint Wildberries & Russ company, known as RVB, invested approximately 11 billion rubles in constructing the facility.
