Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,250 Troops, 4 Tanks, and 57 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost 1,250 troops, 57 artillery systems, and more than 2,100 UAVs over the past day, while the number of frontline clashes rose to 273, Ukraine’s military said.

Russian forces lost another 1,250 troops, four tanks, two armored combat vehicles, and 57 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 3.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,407,150.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of two multiple launch rocket systems, four air defense systems, 18 ground robotic systems, 2,152 operational-tactical UAVs, 48 cruise missiles, 385 vehicles and fuel tankers, and four pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,073 tanks, 24,863 armored combat vehicles, 45,225 artillery systems, 1,912 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,463 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,809 ground robotic systems, 387,342 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,846 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 115,237 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,380 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff said 273 combat engagements took place between Ukrainian and Russian forces over the past day.

Earlier, reports emerged that operators of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces hit a Russian target every 52 seconds in June and killed or wounded one Russian soldier roughly every four minutes.
