Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,440 Troops, 5 Tanks and 2,132 Drones in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,440 troops, five tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, and 2,132 operational-tactical drones over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 14.
According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,382,870 troops.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of 57 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, 13 ground robotic systems, 401 vehicles and fuel tankers, one piece of special equipment, and one heavy flamethrower system over the past day.
Overall, Russian equipment losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,020 tanks, 24,753 armored combat vehicles, 44,010 artillery systems, 1,868 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,419 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 349,165 operational-tactical drones, 4,733 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 106,675 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,288 pieces of special equipment.

The General Staff added that 229 combat engagements took place between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian occupation troops along the front line over the past day, with the heaviest fighting reported in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops repelled 39 Russian assaults, and the Huliaipole sector, where Russian forces launched 32 attacks.
Russian troops also carried out 127 airstrikes, dropped 391 guided aerial bombs, launched 9,192 attack drones, and conducted 3,001 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 112 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems, according to the General Staff.
Earlier, on June 13, Ukrainian forces struck Russian-controlled transport infrastructure near Dzhankoi and Chonhar, targeting a checkpoint, railway bridge, pontoon crossing, and military vehicles along one of Russia’s key logistics routes linking temporarily occupied Crimea with southern Ukraine.
