Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,590 Troops, 35 Artillery Systems, and 1,223 UAVs in One Day

Ukraine’s General Staff reported on September 25 that Russian forces sustained an estimated 1,590 personnel losses over the previous day, bringing their total estimated losses since the start of the full-scale invasion to approximately 1,525,570.

According to the latest figures, Ukrainian forces also destroyed 35 Russian artillery systems and 1,223 operational-tactical UAVs over the same 24-hour period.

Russia’s other reported equipment losses included two tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, three multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), 370 vehicles and fuel tankers, nine unmanned ground vehicles, and one piece of special equipment. The General Staff also recorded the loss of seven Russian cruise missiles.

Following the latest update, Russia’s total estimated equipment losses since February 24, 2022, stand at 12,369 tanks, 25,415 armored combat vehicles, 50,275 artillery systems, 2,157 MLRS, 1,669 air defense systems, and 532,575 operational-tactical UAVs.

The cumulative figures also include 443 aircraft, 356 helicopters, 5,118 cruise missiles, 35 ships and boats, and two submarines. Russia is additionally estimated to have lost 153,152 vehicles and fuel tankers, 2,736 unmanned ground vehicles, and 4,741 pieces of special equipment.

The updated losses were recorded amid continued intense fighting, with 236 combat engagements reported along the front line during the previous 24 hours.

Separately, Ukraine’s General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces struck several Russian military targets on September 23 and overnight into September 24, including two radar systems, an attack-drone storage and launch site, and a fuel depot.
