Most of the aerial targets were either shot down or neutralized through electronic warfare. However, some drones reached their targets. Biletskyi noted that the consequences of the strikes are not critical for the continued operation of essential services.

No casualties were reported following the strikes on May 13. Explosions were heard in several local communities as Russian forces launched a broad attack on Ukrainian cities. The head of the region described this specific raid as "the most massive since the beginning of the full-scale invasion."

According to the military, out of the 11 aerial targets that entered the territory, the majority were intercepted. Biletskyi stated that "Unfortunately, individual drones reached the goal. The consequences of the strikes are not critical for the functioning of life-sustaining objects."

Local residents also reported seeing drones being intercepted over the cities of Svalyava and Uzhhorod. Officials are still collecting detailed information regarding the specific damage caused by the strikes.

In the Rivne region, a strike on civilian targets, including a residential building, killed two people and injured four others. Meanwhile, in the Cherkasy region, Russian drones targeted the Smila community, where three people were injured and several homes were damaged.

In Lutsk, the city center and all bridges were temporarily closed as authorities responded to reports of UAV strikes and worked to clarify the extent of the damage to buildings.

Previously, a Russian missile strike targeted the Mukachevo facility of the American company Flex, one of the largest US investments in western Ukraine.

Although the plant suffered significant damage, the swift evacuation of over 600 night-shift workers prevented fatalities, though several employees were injured and six remained hospitalized.

Andy Hunder, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, condemned the incident as a direct attack on American business, emphasizing that the facility was strictly focused on manufacturing civilian consumer goods, such as coffee machines.
