In the early hours of June 18, drones once again targeted temporarily occupied Crimea, striking two key bridge structures in what appears to be a renewed wave of attacks on Russian logistics infrastructure on the peninsula.

According to the pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel “Crimean Wind,” the strikes hit a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal near the village of Rozdolne in the Ichkin district.

Local reports said approximately 20 explosions were heard in the area during the attack.

In addition, a so-called “humpback” road bridge located near the railway crossing was also struck.

The targeted railway line is considered strategically important for Russian occupation forces operating on the southern front, as it is used for the transfer of heavy armored vehicles, ammunition, and fuel supplies.

Following the reported strikes, the Telegram channel claimed that freight and passenger rail traffic would be completely paralyzed. It also stated that trains arriving from Russia via the Kerch Bridge would only be able to reach as far as the Vladislavovka junction station or Feodosia.

Just a aday earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that Ukrainian forces have carried out strikes on two bridges used by Russian troops for military logistics and the movement of personnel and equipment between occupied territories in southern Ukraine.

According to the statement, one of the targeted sites was a road bridge over the North Crimean Canal near the village of Stavky in the Kherson region. Another strike hit a road bridge in the Voinka area, which is also used as a key transport route by Russian forces.

The latest attacks come after earlier disruptions to Russian logistics corridors linking occupied Crimea with southern Ukraine. On the night of June 13, Ukrainian forces carried out a series of drone strikes against transport infrastructure used by Russian units to move supplies and equipment between occupied territories.

According to the 1st Separate Assault Brigade named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo, as well as Russian-installed authorities in occupied Kherson region, those earlier strikes affected the Dzhankoi checkpoint, a railway bridge, a pontoon crossing, and military transport vehicles in the Chonhar area—a critical logistics corridor connecting Crimea with occupied southern regions.
