Russia launched a total of 74 missiles and nearly 500 drones during the assault, which damaged approximately 100 residential buildings and caused direct hits on at least 20 others.
Air defense forces managed to intercept four ballistic missiles, 32 of 34 Kh-101 cruise missiles, eight Kalibr cruise missiles, four Kh-59/69 guided missiles, and 476 drones.

The Ukrainian Red Cross confirmed the incident on its Facebook page, stating that the rented facility was one of its primary logistics hubs.
The warehouse contained strategic reserves meant for emergency responses to shelling, fires, evacuations, and other crises, alongside specialized medical gear and critical infrastructure machinery. A cargo delivery vehicle parked at the site was also damaged.

"At the moment of the Russian attack on the capital, the rented warehouse contained humanitarian cargo required for emergency response to the consequences of emergencies, ensuring the operation of medical institutions, and providing vital assistance to hundreds of thousands of people from among the most vulnerable categories of the population," representatives of the Red Cross stated.

"The destroyed warehouse was one of the key logistics centers of the Ukrainian Red Cross. It was from here that the execution of humanitarian projects aimed at supporting the population was ensured. Also, as a result of the strike, a cargo vehicle used for the delivery of humanitarian aid was damaged," representatives of the Red Cross shared.
The lost inventory included generators, heat pumps, medical stretchers, defibrillators, ultrasound diagnostic equipment, and patient monitors.

The organization also lost basic necessity items such as blankets, bedding sets, hygiene kits, tarpaulins, window-covering film, and sleeping kits. In total, 320,000 units of humanitarian cargo and equipment were destroyed.

Destruction was recorded in every district of Kyiv following what Mayor Vitali Klitschko called the most massive attack on the capital since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Following the attack, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia would definitely face a decisive response for the assault.
The President also addressed the critical shortage of air defense ammunition, noting that intercepting the incoming ballistic missiles required twice as many Patriot interceptors. Ultimately, he emphasized that Ukraine was fighting on its own and urged international partners to finally execute their existing agreements and deliver the promised aid on time to save lives.
