Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) said the drone targeted farm equipment operating during the harvest in the Zaporizhzhia region. The injured man received medical assistance following the attack.
The strike set fire to a combine harvester, a passenger vehicle, and wheat growing in the field. Emergency crews extinguished the resulting blaze, according to the SES.

Photos released by emergency officials showed the damaged agricultural machinery and burned sections of the field following the strike.
The latest attack follows another deadly Russian strike in Zaporizhzhia earlier this week. On August 11, a Russian ballistic missile hit a Metinvest industrial site, killing seven employees and injuring 21 others. The strike severely damaged the facility and forced the primary metallurgical plant to suspend operations, according to Metinvest.
