Initial reports indicate the drone hit a children's playground area inside the complex, causing a large fire to break out.

Russia had continued its aerial attacks on Kyiv on October 8, when a Russian drone struck a four-story store in the capital’s Solomianskyi district, killing at least two people and injuring two others, according to Vitali Klitschko.

Emergency crews had contained a fire that had broken out inside the building following the strike, and the bodies of two victims were later recovered from the site while search-and-rescue operations were underway.
