Ukraine Hit Over 200,000 Russian Targets in June, Setting Three Monthly Records

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck more than 200,000 verified Russian targets during June 2026, while nearly doubling the number of successful strikes against targets located more than 50 kilometers (31 miles) behind the front line, according to Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov on July 5.

In a statement published on Facebook, Fedorov said Ukraine also significantly increased the intensity of strikes against Russian military targets in temporarily occupied Crimea, with operations focused on disrupting Moscow’s logistics network.
“The number of strikes on logistics continues to grow. Almost doubled the number of successful strikes on targets located more than 50 km from the line of combat contact… In June, the intensity of strikes on targets in temporarily occupied Crimea also increased significantly,” Fedorov wrote.
According to the minister, Ukrainian forces concentrated on destroying Russian warehouses, transport assets, and supply routes in an effort to reduce Russia’s ability to sustain frontline operations.
Fedorov said the Defense Forces achieved several record results during the month. Ukrainian units reportedly destroyed a record number of Russian artillery systems, intercepted 49,575 Russian fixed-wing and multirotor drones—the highest monthly figure recorded to date—and set a new record for destroying Russian military vehicles and motorcycles.

The minister also said Ukrainian forces killed or seriously wounded nearly 28,000 Russian servicemen during June.
According to Fedorov, every recorded strike is verified through video evidence, while Ukraine’s “eBaly” battlefield assessment system enables commanders to monitor combat results in real time and identify effective tactics for broader deployment.
Earlier this year, Fedorov reported that Ukraine’s unmanned systems had struck more than 800,000 verified Russian targets since the beginning of 2026, including personnel, air defense systems, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, drones, electronic warfare equipment, headquarters, logistics infrastructure, and ground robotic systems.
