Ukraine Hits Russian Army Sergeant Training Center in Major Wave of Strikes on Military Targets

Ukrainian forces struck a Russian military training center responsible for preparing army sergeants, alongside command posts, an electronic warfare station, and multiple logistics facilities during a series of attacks on October 9 and overnight into October 10.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on October 10, the sergeant training center was targeted near Khorly in the temporarily occupied Kherson region as part of a broader operation against Russian military infrastructure.
The strikes also hit Russian command posts near Peremozhne in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region and Dokuchaievsk in the Donetsk region.
In Russia’s Bryansk region, Ukrainian forces targeted an electronic warfare station near Trukhanove, extending the series of attacks beyond Ukrainian territory. Additional strikes focused on facilities responsible for maintaining military equipment and supplying Russian units.

Near Sukhodilsk in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, Ukrainian forces struck a repair and recovery base used by the Russian military. Another attack targeted a fuel and lubricants depot near Chystiakove in the Donetsk region.
Two further military supply depots were hit near Rodynkove in the Donetsk region and Borovenky in the Luhansk region. According to the General Staff, the latter facility also stored engineering equipment.
The Ukrainian military did not specify the weapons used in the attacks or provide detailed information about casualties and the extent of the damage.
The latest strikes followed a similar operation on October 8 and overnight into October 9, when Ukrainian forces targeted a Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense system in Krasnodar region, a drone launch site in the Donetsk region, and several ammunition and military supply depots across temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.
