Ukrainian forces struck Russian military communications facilities, command posts, drone infrastructure, and supply depots across three regions on October 25 and overnight into October 26.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the strikes on its official Facebook page on October 26, identifying targets in the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.

"This disrupts the enemy’s communications and command and control of its troops," the General Staff wrote, describing the strike on a Russian military communications hub near temporarily occupied Melitopol.

According to the military, Ukrainian forces targeted:

  • a Russian military communications hub near Melitopol in the Zaporizhzhia region;

  • Russian command posts near Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region and Chervonohirka in the Zaporizhzhia region;

  • a Russian UAV control post near Vyshneve and a drone workshop near Melitopol in the Zaporizhzhia region;

  • Russian military equipment and supply depots near Komisarivka and Katerynivka in the Luhansk region.

The General Staff explained that the strikes on command posts were intended to disrupt Russian battlefield coordination, while targeting drone infrastructure could reduce Moscow's ability to attack Ukrainian military positions and frontline communities.

The attacks on supply depots were also intended to undermine Russian logistics by destroying materiel needed to sustain military operations. The General Staff did not disclose the weapons used, the number of Russian casualties, or detailed damage assessments for the targeted facilities.

"Operations against the enemy’s key military targets will continue until Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine ends completely," the General Staff stated.

Days earlier, Ukrainian forces carried out a similar wave of strikes across the same three regions on October 19 and overnight into October 20.

Targets included a command post near Fedorivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, a military repair unit near Kalmiuske in the Donetsk region, and logistics depots near Kripenskyi, Rivnopil, and Lahidne.

Russian troop concentrations were also hit near Horlivka, Selydove, Svatove, and several settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
