Ukraine Knocks 7 of Russia’s 10 Largest Wildberries Logistics Hubs Out of Operation

Ukrainian strikes have put seven of the ten largest logistics centers operated by Russian e-commerce company Wildberries out of operation, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense said on August 16.

The ministry said the latest disruption followed a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack on the Moscow region overnight on August 16. Wildberries facilities in Domodedovo and at the Koledino industrial park were among the sites affected.

The Koledino facility, covering approximately 250,000 square meters, was the company’s largest warehouse by area, according to the Defense Ministry.

“Russian logistics is acutely feeling the consequences of the war that the Russian Federation brought to Ukraine,” the ministry said.

Ukraine’s Strikes Wipe Out Wildberries’ Major Warehouses as Losses Near $12 Billion

The August 16 attack follows a series of Ukrainian strikes against Wildberries logistics infrastructure across Russia since July 18. Facilities have been targeted in the Moscow, Tambov, Ryazan, Leningrad, and Penza regions, as well as in Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Udmurtia, and Bashkortostan.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously described strikes on Wildberries facilities as a response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. According to Zelenskyy, the targeted sites were involved in supplying sanctioned components used for drone production and navigation equipment.
