Ukraine has added a new category of amphibious unmanned ground vehicles to the Brave1 Market , allowing military units to order robotic systems capable of moving across both land and water, Ukraine’s Defence Ministry reported on October 28.
The ministry stated that three amphibious UGV models are already available on the platform, with additional systems expected to be added later. Military units will eventually be able to order them through Ukraine’s ePoints program .

The deployment forms part of Ukraine’s growing use of unmanned ground systems for frontline logistics and other high-risk missions. By mid-August, Ukrainian UGVs had completed more than 100,000 missions in place of soldiers since the beginning of 2026.
Amphibious UGVs are designed for frontline logistics in areas where rivers, canals, wetlands, or damaged terrain can block conventional ground routes. The systems retain high mobility on land and can switch within seconds to moving through water, according to Ukraine’s Defence Ministry.
The ministry noted that Brave1 and the Defence Ministry have been developing the amphibious systems market to accelerate their deployment to Ukrainian units. Brave1 launched a dedicated grant program for amphibious UGVs in June 2026, while developers have continued refining the systems using feedback from frontline troops.
The technology has already been tested in combat. Soldiers from the Alter Ego unit of Ukraine’s 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade recently completed what the ministry described as the world’s first combat logistics mission using an amphibious ground robot.

The vehicle traveled more than 40 kilometers across land and water before successfully delivering food and ammunition to Ukrainian positions.
Ukraine is also expanding unmanned aerial systems into battlefield casualty evacuation. UNITED24 Media previously reported that Ukrainian troops used the StarGate aerial CASEVAC drone to evacuate two seriously wounded soldiers in one week, including one mission covering nearly 60 kilometers round trip despite Russian GPS jamming.
