“It is time to end this war. But Russia’s ruler wants to keep fighting. That is why Ukrainian sanctions against this aggression are working. Last night, our drones covered a distance of about 1,000 kilometers to the St. Petersburg region – to the enemy navy’s arsenals and a base in Kronstadt,” Zelenskyy said.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainian forces also struck an oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar region, approximately 500 kilometers from Ukraine.
“Russia must end its war and stop its attacks on life. Any manifestation of injustice against Ukraine will receive a just response. I thank our warriors for their precision,” he added.

Russian officials claimed air defenses intercepted 144 drones and said a fire broke out at an unspecified Russian Defense Ministry facility in the Lomonosov district. Local authorities announced a partial evacuation of nearby residents.
According to Astra and footage published by local residents, several military-related sites were affected during the attack.
Open-source analysts identified smoke rising near the Research Institute of Marine Thermal Engineering, a Russian defense enterprise involved in the development of submarine weapons, including the Fizik-series torpedoes and components of the Paket anti-torpedo system.

Additional footage geolocated by Astra showed smoke near the Kronstadt Marine Plant, one of Russia’s main naval repair facilities. The shipyard services major surface combatants and submarines from the Baltic Fleet and other Russian naval formations.
Reports also indicated explosions and smoke near the Russian Navy’s 15th Arsenal in the settlement of Bolshaya Izhora west of St. Petersburg. Videos circulating online showed what appeared to be secondary detonations in the area.
The strike comes three days after Ukrainian drones hit the Russian missile corvette Boykiy at the Kronstadt naval base. The Project 20380 warship is part of Russia’s Baltic Fleet and has regularly undergone maintenance at facilities in Kronstadt.
