Ukrainian Forces Liberate Six Villages, Reclaiming 126 Square Kilometers in Dnipropetrovsk Region

Ukrainian defense forces have liberated six villages in the Oleksandrivsk direction of Dnipropetrovsk region, executing a rapid tactical advance that pushed frontlines back by up to 25 kilometers, Militarnyi reported on July 13.
The offensive, carried out by the 425th Assault Regiment “Skelya” with active support from Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces, successfully recaptured the settlements of Ternove, Zaporizke, Novogeorhiivka, Vorone, Sichneve, and Maliivka.

Militarnyi reported that the coordinated operations restored Ukrainian sovereignty over 126 square kilometers of territory that had previously been under Russian occupation.
The multi-axis breakthrough heavily compromised the Russian defensive line, inflicting critical personnel and hardware losses on Moscow’s 120th Marine Division and units of the 68th Army Corps. In particular, Ukrainian forces targeted concentrated staging areas of the Russian 656th Motorized Rifle Regiment in the settlement of Temyrivka.
This advance enabled the Defense Forces to establish firm fire control over a vital Russian logistical supply route running through the area, while significantly extending the operational reach of Ukrainian strike drones deeper behind enemy lines, according to Militarnyi.

To maximize tactical surprise, the entire push was conducted under a strict information blackout, with no public data leaks. Commenting on the high level of secrecy surrounding the maneuvers.
“We don’t know how long this operation lasted, since it was shrouded in what is known as the ‘fog of war,’” Ukrainian Armed Forces Lieutenant Colonel Serhiy Misyura stated.
The tactical gains in Dnipropetrovsk region coincide with successful offensive operations along adjacent front lines. A coordinated assault, previously conducted by the 37th Separate Marine Brigade and paratroopers from the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade, had dislodged Russian forces from fortified dug-in positions, allowing Ukrainian defenders to clear dense defensive mining and establish full operational control over the neighboring village of Novokhatske in the Donetsk region.
