Ukraine’s military used its DELTA  battlefield management system to coordinate maritime operations during NATO’s REPMUS 2026 exercises, successfully integrating aerial, surface, and underwater drones as well as radars, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry reported on October 14.

REPMUS, or Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping with Maritime Unmanned Systems, is an annual NATO exercise led by the Portuguese Navy. Ukraine participated for the third time this year.

The Ukrainian team used DELTA to coordinate reconnaissance, maritime monitoring, maneuvering, escort exercises, and simulated strikes alongside allied forces.

The Defense Ministry reported that all systems transmitting telemetry under NATO’s STANAG 4817 standard were successfully integrated into DELTA during the exercises.

Ukrainian specialists also shared combat experience with NATO partners, including lessons from the use of unmanned systems in maritime operations.

The ministry noted that DELTA continued operating without interruption under unstable communications conditions. Ukrainian personnel also highlighted the convenience of streaming through the system’s Vezha module compared with other platforms.

DELTA had already served as the main command-and-control platform during REPMUS 2025, when it integrated more than 100 unmanned systems operating across multiple domains.

The Defense Ministry stated that this year’s testing again demonstrated DELTA’s compatibility with NATO systems and moved Ukrainian solutions closer to broader standardization within the Alliance.

Ukraine plans to continue sharing combat experience from unmanned operations while expanding interoperability with NATO member forces.

In June, DELTA logged more than 200,000 drone-confirmed strikes on Russian targets, averaging over 6,600 per day. The system also processed more than 75,000 video streams daily and used its built-in Avengers platform to automatically detect enemy objects in battlefield footage.
