Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal has announced an expansion of the Drone Army Bonus program: from now on, service members will be able to order electronic warfare (EW) systems through the digital DOT-Chain Defense platform.
Previously, units could request FPV drones and bombers under the initiative. Now the list includes EW equipment designed to better protect Ukrainian troops on the front line, Shmyhal reported on September 4.
The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense has already signed the first contracts with domestic manufacturers, with part of the equipment already delivered to the Armed Forces.

According to the minister, adding EW systems provides a new level of flexibility: units can independently define their needs, log into DELTA , choose the necessary equipment via Brave1 Market, and receive it directly through DOT-Chain Defense. This approach shortens the time from request to frontline delivery and improves the efficiency of state spending.
Since the program’s launch, more than $12.3 million worth of equipment has been delivered, with total orders amounting to $44.4 million.
Earlier, it was reported that in its first month of operation, the DOT-Chain Defense system delivered 5,600 drones worth $5.4 million directly to the frontline.
According to Denys Shmyhal, the platform has become a tool for combat brigades to order various types of UAVs directly. At present, 12 brigades operating on the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Kharkiv fronts are taking part in the project.
