Koretskyi noted that the funds will be directed toward priority budget expenditures and the immediate needs of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
“Under conditions of constant Russian attacks, this support is critically important for strengthening our defense capabilities and maintaining the financial stability of the state,” Koretskyi stated.

He thanked European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Commissioners Valdis Dombrovskis and Andrius Kubilius, as well as EU member states for their continued support.
Koretskyi added that Ukraine is continuing to work with European partners to ensure that the remaining financing under the program arrives on time and in full.
The latest disbursement comes as the EU prepares to sustain military support into 2027. In September, European Commission officials confirmed that Brussels was open to accelerating regulatory and technical preparations for next year’s defense deliveries, after approving $31.6 billion in military support schedules for 2026.
