Kirill Dmitriev, a special envoy for Russian leader Vladimir Putin, has made a public appeal to extraterrestrial life to influence the political leadership of the United Kingdom on June 10.

“Dear Aliens, as you prepare contact with humanity, please show your omnipotence and goodness by convincing Keir Starmer to resign,” the envoy wrote.
Dear Aliens 👽,

As you prepare Contact 🛸 with Humanity, please show your omnipotence & goodness by convincing Keir Starmer to resign. No abductions or probing — just have him understand what people think of him and that he can give Hope to Western civilization by Resigning. 🙏 https://t.co/D7MxCPqYfR
Dmitriev stated that no invasive action or space-based technology would be required to facilitate this change. Instead, he suggested that the entities should simply convey the public’s sentiment regarding the British Prime Minister. He added that the official’s departure could “give Hope to Western civilization.”
This unusual statement comes amid reports of civil unrest in Belfast, which began on June 8 following a violent incident involving a foreign national and a local resident. Dmitriev has previously targeted the British leader with similar rhetoric.

Earlier in May, he made comments suggesting that extraterrestrial life was waiting for the Prime Minister’s resignation. In other public remarks, the Russian official has labeled the British Prime Minister a “war monger” and argued that his exit would be beneficial for the country, even as Russia continues its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
On June 10, 2026, the United Kingdom announced its largest-ever drone package for Ukraine, which aimed to deliver at least 120,000 unmanned aerial vehicles by the end of the year. The Ministry of Defense confirmed that the initiative was designed to bolster Kyiv’s battlefield capabilities while simultaneously strengthening Britain's own defense industrial base.
Minister for Defense Readiness and Industry Luke Pollard stated that the majority of the funding was directed toward UK-based companies, including Tekever, Windracers, and Malloy Aeronautics. This approach served to support high-skilled domestic jobs and ensured that the rapid provision of equipment contributed to the long-term growth and scalability of British defense manufacturing.
