Following his meeting with the defense firm, Zelenskyy noted the long-standing partnership between Ukraine and the American manufacturer.

"I met with the team of defense company Lockheed Martin – one of the strongest companies in the United States, with which we have been cooperating for a long time. It is Lockheed Martin that manufactures ATACMS, HIMARS, F-16s, and missiles for Patriot systems," Zelenskyy stated.

The talks highlighted opportunities for technology exchange and shared production lines. Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine has valuable experience to share with those assisting in its defense.

He noted that both sides discussed joint capabilities regarding Patriot systems and other equipment, adding that their teams were already working on concrete decisions to transition to joint production as quickly as possible and enhance their ability to protect lives, while expressing gratitude for the ongoing support and assistance.

During their meeting in the Oval Office, Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump discussed securing production licenses for Patriot air defense interceptors and ways to intensify diplomatic efforts to end the war.

Zelenskyy offered his condolences over the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham, calling him a true friend of Ukraine, and expressed gratitude for ongoing American support.

The high-level talks focused on expanding Ukraine's defense manufacturing capabilities to protect critical infrastructure, while both leaders agreed to have their teams coordinate further details to advance peace negotiations.
